Ed has been a lifelong resident of the Chicago area. He was born in Chicago, and lived on the North side until he was 24 years of age. 
That is when he decided to settle down and raise a family. DuPage County seemed like the ideal spot!
His parents were born in Poland and they came to the states in 1949. Ed learned a good work ethic from watching his dad run a T.V. repair shop in Chicago. Ed's mom and dad also knew the value of real estate, and they purchased several pieces of property in the area over the years, which turned out to be great investments!
After college, Ed worked for Motorola as a sales rep, and eventually started his own computer business in Oak Brook. Several of his clients were real estate companies. Whenever Ed would 
stop in to help them with their PCs, he would notice how much fun the salespeople were having showing and selling homes to their customers. One day he decided to get his own real estate license and to give it a try.
Ed became a Realtor - and got a sale his very first week in the business... not only has he had fun helping his customers, he also discovered how rewarding it can be to help families to find their “Dream Homes”.
Ed has been married for over 30 years to his wife, Wanda. His oldest daughter, Kim, just graduated college and now works in Web Design. His younger daughter, Jenny, is in her second year of college. Brittney, their Golden Retriever, is now nine years old, and loves barking as well as running after the occasional jackrabbit who might wander into their back yard.
